Love.

Alone we are fine but when we’re two, we are eternal. The moons have aligned our separate lives, here become one. And you would be the last thing I saw coming, I’m still surprised…  All my life I’ve lived alone without you. All this time I couldn’t find a way to belong.

I see the rest of my life with you.

Strange.

I’ve been collecting things around the house that are mine and I’d like to take with me- so I decided I should probably go through the library and pick all the books that are mine.

Found The Stranger amongst them all, read this one summer in-between high school sometime.

I flipped through it really quickly and noticed the only thing that was underlined through the entire book was this:

“For a second I had the ridiculous feeling that they were there to judge me.”

oh teenage angst. ha.

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.

new NEWS … is OLD news.

watched the news this evening.

a whole segment, basically, on how 2009 college graduates choose a horrible year to… well … be born. and how the job industry suffered dramatically.  a year later and STILL talking about it.

thanks. talking about it- makes it so much better.

oh and not to mention. the percentage of people who quit their jobs were higher last year than people who got laid off.  who ever decided to quit their jobs in a year where no jobs were to be had is very very foolish.  all this is your fault. i blame you.

FINALLY…. I get it.

cannot believe I did NOT get this before … I finally get the meaning to LOST.

it’s all about the yin and the yang.

The Yin/Yang symbol is one of the oldest and best-known life symbols in the world, but few understand its full meaning. It represents one of the most fundamental and profound theories of ancient Taoist philosophy. At its heart are the two poles of existence, which are opposite but complementary. The light, white Yang moving up blends into the dark, black Yin moving down. Yin and Yang are dependent opposing forces that flow in a natural cycle, always seeking balance. Though they are opposing, they are not in opposition to one another. As part of the Tao, they are merely two aspects of a single reality. Each contains the seed of the other, which is why we see a black spot of Yin in the white Yang and vice versa. They do not merely replace each other but actually become each other through the constant flow of the universe.

The ordering of the Eight Trigrams comes in two basic arrangements: the early- or pre-heaven Bagua; and the later- or post-heaven Bagua. The pre-heaven Bagua represents Heavenly influences. The post-heaven Bagua represents Earthly influences. According to Taoism, our job as humans is to align ourselves intelligently (via the principles revealed by the I Ching, and practices such as Feng Shui and Qigong) so that we can derive the greatest benefit from the Heavenly and Earthly influences.

By goly- I think I’ve fallen in love all over again.  It makes PERFECT sense.  Now I feel at PEACE.

Bought two new shoes for work- not sure which to keep.
